These: (for 'near' objects)

• When we are talking about more than one Person/Place/Thing/Animal/Bird/Matter/Time, and if ther're nearby the speaker, the demonstrative 'these' is used to demonstrate those objects.

Those: (for 'far' objects)

1. Those are cattle.
2. Those are shops.
3. Those are stars.
4. Those are clouds.
5. Those are not tall trees.
6. Those are not your kids.
7. Those are not ships.
8. Are those our pads?
9. Are those antique coins?
10. Are those leaves?

• When we are talking about more than on Person/Place/Thing/Animal/Bird/Matter/Time, and if they're far from the speaker, the demonstrative 'those' is used to demonstrate those objects.
