• Only V-2 is used in the Past Tense-Affirmative
• Nowhere is used V-2
• In Negative and Interrogative of the Simple Past Tense V-1 is used with did.

Simple Past Tense-Affirmative

Formula : Subject + V-2  + Object.

Simple Past Tense- Negative

Formula : Subject + did not V-1 + Object.

12.         WhatsApp didn't launch any application last month.

13.         Board didn't ask this question in the previous exam.

14.         It didn’t rain heavily last year.

Simple Past Tense- Interrogative

Formula : Did + Subject + V-1  + Object ?

15.         Did you get ‘English in Ten days’ ?

16.         Did you fill up the form for next exam?

17.         Did you see that tiger?

18.         Did you subscribe ‘kishan angel’ you tube?

19.         Did Modi visit America last month ?

20.         Did he die in 2012 ?
