The Simple Past Tense
Pattern of Interrogative Sentences

Interrogative of the Simple Past Tense is formed with the help of ‘Did’.

Did is used at the begging of the sentence.
Did itself is the past form of do, so when did is used, it takes base form with it.

Thus,
Did + subject + V-1 + other words?

  1. Did I make any mistake?
  2. Did we miss the train?
  3. Did you send the parcel?
  4. Did they buy a new bungalow?
  5. Did passengers book tickets?
  6. Did he complete the project?
  7. Did the emperor invade on the neighboring country?
  8. Did he give you tickets?
